Concept 101

Some days don't start out well..

The morning was full of bad news, the ticket machine failed, we missed our first train and there wasn't even time for a coffee. It felt like one of those days.

Then we arrived at Concept101.

And everything changed.

The place was buzzing with creativity and energy. We got to see some of Jeff Simpsons incredible work, he's as modest as he is talented, and explore the Framestore stand, whose artistry was both technically brilliant and sensitive (even if we sadly missed their talk which clashed with Roger's).

We also discovered the Artnest, another inspiring corner of imagination and tucked away some of their colourful, ingenious and delightful stickers and other PR surprises.

All in all, Concept101 was a window into the vibrant seething underworld of creativity that often goes unseen in daily life- even for those who are a part of it.

With the talent, enthusiasm and passion on display, it suddenly felt easier to imagine a bright future.
