This image is made up from two paintings done for Steve Hacketts box set ‘Premonitions’ 14 discs of his early work. The background painting was made separately from the flying craft so that it could be animated. The inspiration for the craft was ‘The Voyage of the Acolyte‘ and the inspiration for the background was ‘Spectral Mornings.
